My name is Jade, but most people call me Jaderbug. My family mostly calls me Jane. I am in the 6th grade and my teacher is Ms. Heuchert. There are four people in my family; I have one older sibling (my role model and best friend) Cassie. I play basketball for the school in the fall, and I participate in traveling basketball in the winter. I love to play outside all the time; I usually play volleyball, basketball, football, etc. The other thing I really enjoy is watching NBA Basketball on tv. My favorite team is the Cleveland Cavaliers. In this past year, they won the series against the Golden State Warriors! My favorite subjects in school are reading, writing, art, and sometimes math. When I get older, I would like to go to college, get a degree in nursing, and eventually become a nurse anesthetist.
Hi, my name is Emma, and I am 11 years old and in 6th grade. My favorite things to do after school are play basketball, watch tv, and participate in taekwondo. I have two dogs named Dixie and Pepe. Dixie is four years old, and Pepe is 16 years old. I love to take my dogs for walks in the summer. My favorite season is winter because we celebrate my birthday in December. My favorite hockey team is the Minnesota Wild. I love music; my favorite singers are Shawn Mendes and Jack and Jack. My all time favorite song is “This Town” by Niall Horan. My favorite subject in school is social studies because you can learn about history. My second favorite subject is math even though it is kind of hard. My favorite school lunch is taco in a bag. I hope this 6th grade year will be a blast.
My name is Lydia, and I'm in 6th grade in Miss Heuchert’s Writing Studio. I only like one sport and that is archery. I joined 4-H Shooting Sports Club because I wanted to practice archery. I love drawing and coloring. I was really happy that I got to write about art because I’m in 4-H, and I love making art projects. I also can’t wait to create mosaics in Miss Heuchert’s class. I’m very excited to start writing about art.

Jade, Emma and Lydia, Thanks for sharing about what you like. Jade, I love that you already have an idea of what you want to train to do an an adult. Super! Emma, I was glad to see that you can like a subject even when it's hard. Pressing on with hard things will help you as an adult as well. Lydia, it wasn't surprising that you like art projects.
